1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk 2 Vantage Coupe

For decades, Aston Martin has been creating outstanding examples of speed. Today we get a look at one particular design that is currently up for auction. The legendary DB6 was at the end of its production life by 1969. The new, modern DBS took its place on top of Aston Martin’s lineup. Improvements for the final year of production included wider tires and subtle interior and exterior.

This particular DB6 is one of only 71 Mk 2 DB6s that were equipped with the Vantage package. The ride is a left-hand-drive model that was initially picked up in England and driven around Europe for a few weeks. The car was then shipped to its home in Canada. The car is heavily optioned, boasting a Bosch New Yorker radio and the extremely rare factory Coolaire air conditioning. The vehicle has never been restored outside of a repaint in its original color. In fact, the car still has its original motor and transmission.

Take a closer look at this stunning 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk 2 Vantage in the images and head over to RM Sotheby’s to place your bid. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides, classic cars, and concepts coming very soon.
