The ATL’s very own, 2 Chainz is never one to sit around and let time go by. The wordsmith is back, taking over the interwebs with a brand new single while announcing something new and big for the future. 2 Chainz returns with a snappy new single entitled “Virgil Discount,” which will live on his upcoming compilation for his T.R.U. representatives. “Virgil Discount” arrives after the hard-hitting new single “Falcons Hawks Braves,” which left many fans wondering what was on the horizon.
The new track comes with the announcement of NO FACE NO CASE, a collaborative effort with his T.R.U. entourage. 2 Chainz will be joined by the likes of Skooly, Worl, Sleepy Rose, and Hott Locked N. The menacing new single, “Virgil Discount,” finds the ATL native holding things down on his own while getting quite the infectious instrumental to excel upon. The track was produced by June The Genius, rocking a flute-heavy melodic element that will have you recalling Future’s single, “Mask Off.” The banging 808’s contrast the smooth melodies while coming together to provide 2 Chainz with quite the home to do his thing. As expected, he doesn’t disappoint, putting together a solid showcase of his uncanny delivery and lyrical prowess.
