First things first welcome to 2021. We’re eight days in, and things have been interesting, to say the least. Needless to say, the new year is off and running, and this marks the end of the first official week of 2021. To kick off the weekend, we are back with the latest installment of A Curation of Sound.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar, here’s a breakdown. Each week we scour the interwebs looking for the hottest, best, and most infectious new music to bring to your attention. We compile those tracks, along with some of our favorites from the past few weeks and months, into one playlist for your listening enjoyment.
This week marks our thirty-sixth installment of A Curation of Sound and our first of 2021. The past few weeks have been busy for all of us, which means we have a bunch of new music to share with you. This installment features new tracks from the likes of Kid Cudi, H.E.R., Jack Harlow, dvsn, 2 Chainz, blackbear, and many more. We’ve also included tracks from Ty Dolla $ign, T.I., 21 Savage, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, YG, Drake, DaBaby, and others.
There are a few notable new tracks that we think you should pay specific attention to as well. Check out SiR’s new track with WESTSIDE BOOGIE, “Rapper Weed,” as well as the “Slide (Remix)” by H.E.R. featuring Pop Smoke, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Chris Brown. One track you certainly shouldn’t overlook is “Baguette” by Smino with JID and Kenny Beats.
