The one and only, 24hrs just dropped off a new album entitled ‘World on Fire.’ While the whole project is worth your time and effort, today we take a closer look at one track in particular. This one is called “Leave Me Lone,” which finds 24hrs linked up with none other than DMX. 24hrs recently opened up about working with the legendary MC. He stated: “World On Fire is like its own world and its own vibe.”
He added, “My day one fans are going to really connect with this project. DMX even hopped on this sh*t. I’d say it’s my best work so far.” The track finds the duo addressing needing time away from the public, doing so over top of production from Boombox Cartel. 24hrs delivers his signature auto-tune vocals, while X brings a dose of his gritty wordplay and lyrical prowess. X raps: “I was born a dog, that’s how I’ma die/ In the bed with a bad bitch, dick to the sky.” Other quotables include: “If a husband is what you want, I’m not that guy. You wanna get your back broke, come on by You want a nigga to cuddle? Come on, it’s too hot. We gotta go ’cause I run through bitches like socks.”
