Another day, another new drop from the brand with the three stripes. This time around, adidas Originals returns with a four-pack of footwear that pays homage to the world of gaming. The new “Gaming Pack” is inspired by the legacy of 8-bit video games. The collection features four signature shoes, including the Superstar, Ozweego, NMD_R1, and ZX 2K BOOST. First things first, the Superstar.
This iconic is revamped with full-grain white leather and combines classic details with updated graphics. The sneaker features a rubber shell toe while rocking a zig-zag cut Three Stripes overlayed with an 8-bit video game design. This unique detail offers a unique twist, while the traditional adidas Originals Trefoil on the tongue and heel add classic appeal. The sneaker also boasts an 8-bit-printed insole.
The Ozweego, NMD_R1, and ZX 2K BOOST feature a more subtle allure. The sneakers are draped in retro gaming-inspired colorways, boasting HD, 3D-style graphics throughout. The collection is unique and colorful, offering bold attention to detail and unrivaled quality. The Ozweego is seen in “Collegiate Navy” and “Cloud White.” The “Core Black” NMD_R1 is an excellent addition, while the ZX 2K BOOST is packed with style and detail.
Take a closer look at the “Gaming Pack” in the images and look for the sneakers at adidas starting January 7th. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new sneakers and footwear coming soon.
