The ATL’s very own, Future, is back. Today the wordsmith returns to the interwebs with a brand new single. This time around, he’s back with a gritty new track entitled “Last Name.” The single finds the ATL’s very own pairing up with Chicago representative, Lil Durk. This marks the second time in a little over a year that these two have come together for something new. After linking up on “Spin the Block” Future and Durk link up for this menacing anthem.
The single, “Last Name” is driven by these hard-hitting, street shaking drum sections, which are seamlessly paired with some slick melodies. The fellas bring their a-game, as expected, cooking up a dose of their uncanny and undeniable approach. Both MC’s showcase their lyrical prowess, while touching a bit on the melodic side of things as well. The backdrop provides the duo with a perfect home to excel, and they certainly don’t disappoint.
“Last Name” is just the latest from Future, though no word on where this track may end up living.
