Style & History! Richardson Unveils The ‘War Rug/Yoke’ Collection

In case you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans of unique style. Today we get a look at a new collection from the creative minds over at Richardson. The brand returns with a new delivery for Fall/Winter 2020, this marking their second drop for the season. This time around, Richardson looks to the tradition of war rugs for inspiration. Today we get our first look at the ‘War Rug/Yoke’ collection.

Eye-catching, bold, and unique, the collection features unique attention to detail and stylish appeal that we can’t get enough of. Afghan war rugs, also known as Baluchi, arrived after over five decades of conflict. These rugs featured instruments of war woven inside, which were sold back to Russian and U.S. troops in Afghani territory.

The unique collection includes a selection of outstanding designs. Along the way, we find a War Rug fleece, hoodie, T-shirt, and a balaclava. The range is a bit of a contrast to their first seasonal drop, which included down jackets and vests. The rest of the collection includes a moleskin shirt and an engineered thermal yoke crewneck. Elsewhere we find accessories like the gym bag, nylon vinyl tote, expedition socks, and military-style headwear.
