We’re all longing for regular travel and the ability to explore freely. While we patiently wait for the new normal to normalize, we’re making a list of places to visit. Today we get a new addition, the Floris Hotel. This stunning retreat is found at the base of the Dolomites in South Tyrol. The hotel is actually a collection of treehouse suites for the Parc Hotel Florian.
These modern, gabled volumes are situated on ten-foot supports, providing incredible views and limiting disruption to the land. The volumes are stacked to create two-story structures with five rooms on each level. The front facade is green, while the remaining exterior features weathered timber. These details blend in with the surrounding landscape, adding to their charm and appeal.
Inside, the interiors feature an open layout with a bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, and private sauna. The floor-to-ceiling frames unrivaled views of the park and the mountains in the distance, further expanding the living space to a covered balcony. There are also patios that include a hot tub, while each suite also features a terrace with a hammock to relax in the great outdoors.
Take a closer look at the Floris Hotel in the images and find out more about the design from NOA right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture coming very soon.
