A Look Back In Sound | JAY-Z Shares His Favorite Songs Of 2019

2019 is coming to an end, and 2020 is right around the corner. As we get ready for the new year on the horizon, today we take a look back at the year that was; again. This time around the one and only, the G.O.A.T., JAY-Z is back in the news. He returns to provide us with a look back at his “Year-End Picks” for his favorite hip-hop and R&B songs in a star-studded playlist on TIDAL.

Hov has been rocking the same records many of us have over the past year, including rising rap star DaBaby who was included on more than a few occasions. Megan Thee Stallion also made the cut with her summertime hit “Cash Sh*t.” JAY-Z also made sure to acknowledge a few other breakout female artists. Other notable artists on the list include Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, and many more. Elsewhere we find Pop Smoke’s ”Welcome to the Party” and SAINt JHN and Lil Baby’s ”Trap.”

There are also veteran acts such as Rick Ross and Drake, Kanye West, Solange, and many more. You can check out the full tracklist below, and you can head over to Tidal to check out the playlist immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for much more new music in 2020.
