A Look Inside | The Marion House

Looking for a great excuse to visit downtown Denver? Well, today we get a look at the Marion House. This stunning retreat started as the residence of the Chipotle founder. The new owners come from across the pond, as Surround Architecture transformed the space into a beautiful family dwelling. The space was revamped thanks to a full remodel and an expansion that brought in a natural material palette.

The house is detailed with board-formed concrete, blackened steel panels, and smoked white oak. The restaurant-style aesthetic has been converted into a warm, contemporary oasis while floor-to-ceiling glazing that offers an effortless connection with the outdoors. The addition of an owner’s wing provides an extra master suite and a bathing pavilion seen on the inner courtyard. A Japanese style Ofuru soaking tub is enclosed by a glass facade, free of any boundaries.

Take a closer look at the Marion House in the images below and find out more from Surround Architecture right now. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture and design coming very soon.
