As you can probably tell, we have quite a soft spot for modern architecture. Today we take a look at a beautiful holiday home located in Argentina. The Santorini House is the brainchild of LOI Arquitectura, offering a unique retreat in a rural landscape. The Santorini House is the result of an extension off of an existing cabin. This comes together to create an L-shaped structure that fits seamlessly with the land it calls home. Perched above a grove of trees, the exterior is clad in black sheet metal to create a cohesive facade.
However, the interior, including the original spaces, has been draped in a clean white finish. This offers a minimalist aesthetic while keeping things contemporary and unique. The common areas transition into the new volume, which houses an office and bedroom. The spaces are lined in natural wood paneling, further contrasting the black sheet metal exterior. The addition expands further, leading to a covered terrace that provides stunning vistas over the surrounding landscape. This structure is the perfect place to get away from reality.
