When it comes to speed and sleek design, Koenigsegg has a history of creating beautiful rides that balance both. Today they are back with their latest creation, this time offering more space with the same blend of style and performance. The Koenigsegg Gemera Coupe is a new car that the brand has dubbed a “Mega-GT.” The vehicle seamlessly brings together supercar specs with luxury sedan comfort. With seating for four, the seats are accessed easily via the giant wing doors. The interior is outfitted with unique attention to detail and striking quality throughout.
Passengers are treated to wireless phone chargers, on-board WiFi, and an 11-speaker sound system. A central infotainment system can be accessed from displays front and rear, providing a tech-savvy aesthetic along the way. The ride is powered by a 2.0L, twin-turbo three-cylinder engine producing 600hp and a trio of electric motors. The electric motors are found on each rear wheel and another on the crankshaft, providing an output of 1,100 horsepower. All of these elements come together to produce a 0-62 mph time of just 1.9 seconds.
If that wasn’t enough, it boasts a top speed of 248 mph, getting there in nearly record-matching time. The vehicle features a pure EV range of over 31 miles, with a top speed of 186 mph. Koenigsegg only has plans to produce 300 of these stunning machines, though pricing and release details will be announced later.
