The good folks over at Toyota are back in the news feed. This time around, they return with a bit more information regarding the latest iteration of the Toyota Tundra. While we’ve seen what the new vehicle looks like for nearly a month, Toyota returns with a look at the specs. The 2022 Toyota Tundra Truck will come in a bevy of trim options, led by the impressive new TRD Pro rendition. The vehicle is powered by a hybrid twin-turbo V6 making 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque while paired to a ten-speed automatic transmission.
The TRD Pro is also outfitted with an adjustable Multi-Terrain Select system and a low-speed, off-road cruise system dubbed CRAWL Control. The exterior is sharp and robust, offering an oversized, muscular look, built atop a high-strength boxed, steel-ladder frame. The truck is also host to an aluminum-reinforced composite bed and fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension. The interior features a thoroughly modern appeal with a new multimedia system available in 8- or 14-inch offerings. Toyota has undoubtedly stepped its game up, offering an elevated approach to its iconic truck.
