A New Look | TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. & Converse Drop The CX Disrupt Duo

TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. is the latest to link up with Converse for a brand new collaboration. This time around, the two have teamed up once again, offering up two iterations of the CX Disrupt sneakers. The sneakers are arriving in black and white versions, boasting unique attention to detail and a sleek, modern aesthetic. The Takahiro Miyashita-helmed label has outfitted the sneaker with a variety of symbols. The “I AM THE SOLOIST” branding on the triangular rubber mid-panel tab is a nice touch. We also see “HELLO! I AM THE SOLOIST. SINCE 2010” phrasing printed along the medial-side mid-panel.

Converse branding is minimal, seen as a tonal star-emblem patch on the medial side. The sole itself is split into two sections. The rear features a chunky, stacked look with waffle detailing seen throughout. Each pair boasts a tonal rubberized toe cap and a matching eyestay, rounded off with complementing rope laces. The sneakers blend old school aesthetics with modern design cues, offering something clean and contemporary in the process.

Take a closer look at the eye-catching collaboration in the images below and look for the sneaker to arrive at retailers such as END. on March 12th. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more sneakers and footwear coming very soon.
