The TDE representative known as Ab-Soul is back! The wordsmith returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. The new track is called “Hollandaise,” and it’s certainly one worth your time and energy. With other rap camp’s stepping up their game as of late, TDE is here to remind us all that they are still here. Schoolboy Q recently dropped a new single, Kendrick Lamar is preparing to release his new album, and Doechii has been busy dropping new material.
This time it’s Ab-Soul’s turn. The new track, “Hollandaise,” was produced by Kal Banx, who laced the wordsmith with an incredible home to do his thing. Ab reciprocates nicely, putting together a solid showcase of his uncanny and unadulterated style. Driven by some snappy drum sections and a highly contagious melody, the track sure caught our attention from the jump. “Hollandaise” serves as the first release from Ab-Soul since 2016’s Do What Thou Wilt. We hope to hear much more from the MC coming soon.
