After years of waiting, it’s finally here. For fans of NBC‘s The Office, today is a big day as we get to watch Michael Scott’s ‘Threat Level Midnight’ in its entirety. The film was originally premiered by Steve Carell‘s character in Episode 17 of Season 7. The hilarious and awkward action film took Michael Scott ten years of writing, shooting, re-shooting, and editing.
It centered around a secret agent Michael Scarn/Michael Scott who has to go up against Goldenface/Jim Halpert. While doing his thing and stopping Goldenface from unleashing his evil plans, Scarn learns that the President/Darryl Philbin was in on the plans all along. Scarn saves seven hostages and blows up the NHL All-Star Game in the process. The film also features a romance plot line with Jasmine Windsong/Angela Martin. The movie is nothing short of a masterpiece, and one we’ve been waiting more than a few years to see. While we got a look at the making of the film in the show itself, this marks the first time we’ve all seen the movie.
