The artist known as Lucien Smith has launched a new online exhibition of paintings. The new collection is titled ‘Beast of Burden,’ featuring twelve pieces in a body of work that displays abstract elements of black and red. The art seemingly depicts branches that are twisted together.
Each of the Lucien Smith creations are titled to evoke a personal experience. One is titled The fact there’s a highway to Hell and only a stairway to Heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic numbers. While another is dubbed Tweet others as you want to be tweeted. Along with the new Beast of Burden paintings, the artist revealed a special edition T-shirt featuring a graphic of one of the paintings.
All proceeds from the sale of the paintings and tee will go directly to support Lucien Smith’s non-profit organization, Serving the People. The organization launches initiatives to support struggling and emerging artists around the world.
