It’s all in the details when it comes to LEGO IDEAS’ latest design. Today they have revealed something quite impressive and unique, a mini-concert grand piano. Not only designed with every imaginable detail, but the piano is also actually playable. The classic back piano comes to life thanks to a 3,662-piece kit that mimics a real piano’s mechanisms. The model even includes a removable 25-key keyboard that’s connected to interior hammers, moving dampers, pedals, and a motor.
The creative design even includes shiny brass bars, which can be seen when the top lid is propped open. The model even includes a fallboard. Users can turn on the motor and link the piano to LEGO’s Powered Up app to play the miniature piano, or simply activate auto-play and let it take control. LEGO IDEAS’ playable Concert Grand Piano will be available on August 1st.
