Another day, another new iteration of the Nike Air Max 270 React. This time around Nike has come together with psychotherapist and mental health advocate Liz Beecroft for a special new edition. The “In My Feels” Air Max 270 React was created in support of mental health awareness. The sneaker comes constructed from a lightweight and breathable material, featuring an inner bootie for a snug and comfortable fit.
The kicks are also host to React technology for a smooth wear. The In My Feels” Air Max 270 React incorporates the color green as it is the official color representative of mental health awareness. On the side of the sneaker, we see a wavy Swoosh that references the fact that healing isn’t linear. It represents the highs and lows throughout life. The tongue then bears “Have a Nice Day,” while the heels come embroidered with “In My Feels.”. The sneakers boast a Max Air unit in the heel for added cushioning. While finished off with a rubber outsole that offers durable traction.
The sneakers are bold and a unique way of bringing awareness to mental health. Proceeds from Beecroft’s Air Max 270 will go to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. She stated: “My goal with all of this is to let everyone know that understanding our feelings are valid and we don’t have to suffer alone. It’s okay to feel the feels.”
