If you couldn’t tell, we have a soft spot for outstanding design and architecture. Today we get to check out a stunning home that is located in Lebanon. Dubbed the Sakeit El Misk House, the home takes advantage of its location, offering unrivaled views of its surroundings. The dwelling sits 900 meters above sea level, using the elevation to its advantage in the process.
Every room has an impressive view, even the garage. The hilltop home is divided into two volumes. The first is a low-lying building that spans the length of the property. This space features a vehicular reception space, indoor pool, a spa, a gym, and staff quarters. Much of the facade is opaque, blocking the property from the street. However, the garage is clad in glass to allow views of the pine garden.
The second volume is a three-story main residence found on the site’s northwestern corner. This area features the primary bedroom, kitchen, and reception space. The glazed facade provides stunning views of the landscape, while a wooden louver system provides ample privacy when needed. This home is a prime example of outstanding modern architecture.
