The one and only, Aminé is back. The wordsmith has been quiet for a minute, though he was on quite the roll thanks to his first two albums. Today he’s back, returning after a quiet 2019 with a brand new track called “Shimmy.” The track finds the Portland artist showing off his lyrical talents yet again, serving up another contagious new track in the process.
The track serves as a nod to Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “I Like It Raw” and “Shimmy Shimmy,” while he puts his own flair and appeal on it. The track is even brought to life with a new set of visuals. The clip finds Aminé putting on for his city, giving us a visual tour of his hometown while effortlessly showing off his lyrical abilities.
