The good folks over at Under Armour are back. Today the sportswear imprint is back with another addition to their fleet of footwear. This time around, we get a look at the UA Embiid One Lawrence colorway. The sneaker serves as a bold tribute to the next step on Joel Embid’s journey. The sneakers also draw inspiration from Lawrence, KS, where he was a Naismith College Player of the Year finalist and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
The sneaker features a lightweight mesh upper and outsole, which are seen with crimson and blue touches. The shoe’s tongue and heel tab are highlighted in blue as well, while the heel tab features a 21, Joel’s collegiate number.
The colorway supports all five positions on the court. The design is outfitted with proprietary UA HOVR™ and Micro G® cushioning technologies, offering both support and flexibility. The specially designed TPU support wings provide additional midfoot stability on the court.
