It’s been 80 years since Looney Tunes first brought Bugs Bunny to the television screen. Since then, the character has become a staple of pop culture. Today Bugs Bunny is back as the cartoon franchise is teaming with Converse for a special collection of shoes and apparel. The range comes in honor of that rascally rabbit’s 80th anniversary, offering a dose of undeniable style and classic appeal. The collection features three takes on the Chuck Taylor All Star, a Chuck 70 Hi, and a Pro Leather plus special apparel.
The range captures eight decades of iconic design through colorful prints, special materials, and much more. The Chuck Taylor All-Star arrives in one low top and two high top designs. The sneaker uses graphic prints to celebrate Bugs, doing so with a hose of unique details throughout. The design includes Bugs chopping up a classic Converse badge with scissors, arriving in a black colorway.
A red pair is seen with embroidered details on both sides, while a pair includes Bugs’ evolution through the years. The high-cut Chuck 70s and Pro Leathers rely on their fabrics to showcase style. The Chuck 70s are seen with an upper of soft gray and light cream fur, while a Bugs graphic on the lateral heel makes a nice touch. The Pro Leather’s mix gray and tan suede, while a badge’s text with its own “What’s Up, Doc?” finishes things off. There is also a full selection of apparel such as short-sleeve tees in white and black, a black long-sleeve tee, and a gray hoodie with a white hood.
