Art & Baseball! Topps Reveals New PROJECT 2020 Prints

Taking us back to our younger years, Topps is back in the news. Today the iconic baseball card manufacturer reveals the latest installment of the ongoing PROJECT 2020 series. The latest collection follows its artist-designed baseball cards, stepping things up a notch in the process. This time around, Topps has revealed a collection of artist-designed prints of those iconic cards. The lineup includes original designs atop iconic baseball cards of legendary baseball players.

The collection features designs from 20 artists such as streetwear designers, tattoo and graffiti artists. Participants include Ben Baller, Don C, Grotesk, Joshua Vides, Sophia Chang, Mister Cartoon, King Saladeen, and more. The range includes a 1992 draft pick card of Derek Jeter reworked by Andrew Thiele, as well as a 2011 card of Mike Trout revamped by Ben Baller.

The limited-edition prints will come signed and numbered by the artist. The prints measure 14 by 18 inches, with 100 units coming with a black frame. While 20 works will come in a silver frame. To finish the collection, one of one gold framed prints will be available for each design.
