It’s all about art here at The Culture Curators this week. With Art Basel taking place this week and our own art exhibition taking place in Central Florida as well, it’s all about art this week. What would art week be without something new from Daniel Arsham? He’s back, partnering with APPortfolio and Disney for some Mickey Mouse Figures. APPortfolio will be one of the vendors at this year’s INNERSECT Shanghai 2019 fair.
Launching at the event are two exclusive Mickey Mouse figures designed by Daniel Arsham in collaboration with Disney. The first design is a plush toy featuring hand-drawn patterns, embroidered Arsham Studio logos, as well as a signature by the artist. The plush toy is offered in three sizes, including 1.5-foot-, 3.7-foot-, and 6.6-foot tall versions. The largest option will be offered in three different color combinations. The trio will also unveil a Hollow Mickey sculpture that stands three meters tall. A collectible version of the piece will also be up for grabs. It arrives measuring in at 1.3-feet-tall.
