Art In Color! Felipe Pantone Will Release ‘OP3DS’ Sculpture

After revealing the one-off INTR3PID Carbon Cub airplane, Felipe Pantone is at it again. Today the artist reveals a new limited edition sculpture for his Optichrome series. The series includes an array of modular artworks, this one is titled ‘OP3DS’ sculpture edition. The colorful design was inspired by an airplane vertical fin. The press statement describes the design’s influence and looks as a shape that offers stability and “evokes speed, contemporaneity, and technological advancement.”

The sculpture measures 40 by 25 centimeters, crafted from UV paint, aluminum, and PMMA. Each of the sculptures comes signed and numbered by Pantone. The work is limited to just 50 pieces and five artists’ proofs. The work will be sold on the artist’s Configurable Art website started November 13th. The new sculpture expands on his collection, which speaks on mankind’s dependency on technology.

The ‘OP3DS’ sculpture edition is undoubtedly something worth adding to any collection of colorful art. Take a closer look at the sculpture in the images and get yours soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more art and art news coming soon.
