Art Meets Fashion | Gucci Unveils New ArtWalls For Fall/Winter 2019

Art and fashion go together, like a good Cabernet and Black Pepper Steak. You can enjoy one without the other, but enjoying them together often leads to incredible results. The good folks over at Gucci are celebrating generations of style. Gucci has unveiled the latest ArtWalls for its Fall/Winter 2019 advertising campaign. The walls were created under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele.

Each different ArtWall references eras that are prominent in Gucci’s FW19 prêt-à-porter collection. The iconic imprint celebrates the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, depicting models wearing the house’s goods. Just as Gucci’s done for their previous ArtWalls campaigns, the advertisements channel the idea of vintage magazines. Gucci’s new campaign images are dramatic and eccentric, celebrating the garments themselves along the way.

The ArtWalls are located across the globe, displaying style to the world. These bold walls can are in Lafayette Street in Soho, Manhattan, in Milan’s Largo la Foppa, near Brick Lane in East London, as well as Mexico City’s Avenida de Michoacan. Others are seen in Shanghai’s Fengsheng Li, Jingan district, in Hong Kong’s D’Aguilar Street, Lan Kwai Fong; and in Yongkang Street, Da’an District, Taipei.

Take a closer look at these eye-catching ArtWalls in the images below and find out more from Gucci immediately. Keep it locked here to The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of art and style coming soon.
