The streetwear retailer, UNKNWN, co-founded by LeBron James, Jaron Kanfer, and Frankie Walker Jr. is getting ready to open a new location. UNKNWN is gearing up to open a new location in Miami this December, just in time for Art Basel 2019. UNKNWN’s latest boutique will be located in the city’s Wynwood district. Boasting 10,000 square feet of space for their experiential concept. The venue will also feature 4,000 square feet of courtyard space.
New York Sunshine is designing the store, aiming to “provide a unique shopping experience that reflects the lifestyle and wardrobe of the co-founders”. The building will be made from concrete for a contemporary look. The UNKNWN space is said to feature a custom water feature, 200 feet of mural space for artist creations and a shelving display that can hold up to 175 sneakers. The location will also feature an indoor, built-in photo studio and prop house while serving as a community space for local events and global travelers alike. UNKNWN Wynwood is slated to open its doors in December, though an official date hasn’t been announced just yet. This is undoubtedly a big move, coming in perfect time for Art Basel.
