The good folks over at Vans make their return. After spending the past few months cooking up some revamped classics, the iconic imprint is back with more of the same. This time around, Vans gets inspired by the abstract side of things with their new “Origami Pack.” The new collection consists of three Eras and one Slip-On, each design showcasing its signatures shape on the base layer. What sets the pack apart is the abstract overlays constructed from unexpected materials. The collection is certainly eye-catching, boasting unique details throughout.
The collection includes a white/black suede pair of Eras with a slab of purple croc skin on the forefoot. We also find the standard checkerboard style, which is draped in a supple black leather. There is even a monochromatic black iteration with pony hair hides, boasting unique attention to detail. The Slip-On features a simple black base and overlaying it with classic checkerboard leather. Each of these cut-out pieces offer an abstract and outstanding approach, rocking a unique aesthetic throughout.
