With art houses, museums and galleries around the world shuttered at the moment, online viewing rooms have been popping up everywhere. Today the Creative Exchange Agency is in the news, unveiling a multi-artist offering dubbed “Existential Time.” CXA called upon the likes of Friedrich Kunath, Anthony Goicolea, Kehinde Wiley, Jeff Burton, and McDermott & McGough to examine the current global climate. The focus of these works include sustainability, diversity, inclusivity, and social action.
The exhibition marks the fourth installment in the online viewing room series, providing a unique look at time inthe process. The exhibition also aims to understand the present, doing so with an array of photography, paintings and mix-media works. The contrast of art on display is vast. We find Friedrich Kunath’s romantic and nostalgic aesthetic while photographer Jeff Burton captures the ambiguous beautifully.
Take a look at a selection of the “Existential Time” exhibit in the images below and head over to check out the full online viewing room on the Creative Exchange Agency’s website. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more art and art news coming very soon.
