It’s been over six years since Asher Roth released his latest album. It’s been quite a wait, but today the wait is over as the wordsmith makes his return. Today Mr. Roth invades the interwebs with his latest opus, ‘Flowers On The Weekend.’ The new album serves as his third studio album, and it also serves as his first musical release since reconnecting with Nottz in 2016. Asher shows off his lyrical prowess yet again, though also showing off his growth as an artist and as a man.
The project comes loaded up with twelve new tracks, offering a unique collection of material in the project. The album follows his Rawther project with Travis Barker and RetroHash, doing so with an array of outstanding selections along the way. Asher still has it lyrically, showing out over top of an array of outstanding instrumentals throughout. Along the way, he’s joined by artists like Buddy, Joyce Wrice, lojii, Lil Yachty, Gaby Duran, and CJ Smith. This one is certainly worth your time and attention. Some of our favorites include “Things Change,” “Still Got Some,” and “Hunnid,” featuring Joyce Wrice.
