The one and only, August Alsina is back. Today the singer/songwriter returns to the interwebs, invading these e-streets with two brand new singles. That’s right! Not one, but two new tracks! The artist is gearing up to drop off his new album this Friday, and he builds the hype with “NOLA” & “Rounds.” The two new standouts arrive just ahead of his impending project, and the crooner doesn’t disappoint.
Though it’s been a minute, Mr. Alsina shows us that he’s still got it. First up, “Nola.” The track finds August providing us with something smooth and unique, providing an ode to his hometown in the process. He effortlessly shows off his range and depth, providing something soulful and highly contagious along the way. The second track, “Rounds,” finds Mr. Alsina again hitting us with his uncanny delivery and smooth sounds. The track is pushed by these slick, catchy melodies which are seamlessly paired with some energetic drum work. The combination allows August to excel, and he does so flawlessly.
