Back To The Old School | The adidas Microbounce T1 “Workshop”

The good folks over at adidas are back. This time around, they return with a revived rendition of the Microbounce T1. This time around, we find the legendary sneaker returning in a striking “Workshop” colorway. The sneaker was a staple of the ’00s fleet from adidas’ footwear. The sneakers boast circular compression units that flatten to absorb impact, snapping back into their regular position to return energy. Bounce was featured on everything from basketball to running footwear, returning today on the T1.

The sneaker returns 12 years after its inaugural release, arriving with some modern stylings in the process. The “Workshop” iteration includes a full-length Bounce setup split into a trio of hues. We see bubblegum pink on the heel, sky blue on the midfoot, and mint green on the forefoot. Patent leather toe bumpers offer an elevated approach in a soft green hue. The mudguard uses pearl patent leather, and the plastic heel cage uses a blue-green tint. The colors are placed between a black mesh upper with tonal suede and leather overlays. The tongue nods to the shoe’s athletic beginnings. The design is then finished off by a resilient black rubber outsole.

The sneaker is certainly one worth adding to the collection. Take a closer look at the eye-catching sneakers below and look for more from adidas coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more sneakers and footwear coming soon.
