We are all mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant. He was a hero to man, transcending basketball and culture, sharing wisdom, and remaining motivational. Tributes have been pouring in since his passing in a tragic helicopter crash, and today Bad Bunny returns to celebrate the legend. The Latin star returns with a brand new single entitled “6 Rings.” While Kobe won five championship rings, he was also known to rock his wedding ring at all times. Bad Bunny refers to this, and Bryant’s family with the track.
The artist sings: “Congratulations, you also won 6 rings … Five in the NBA, a marriage that gave you your daughters. Thinking that one left with you makes me lose control, but, nah, it’s for you to have someone to play with in heaven.” The artist first shared a post paying homage to the basketball star. Bad Bunny wrote: “I still remember the first time I saw a basketball game, at age 7 with my dad, and it was a game of this genius. From that day on, he became my favorite player forever.” The track is certainly one worth checking out and just another showcase of the reach of Kobe Bryant and his influence on the culture around the world.
