The good folks over at Vans are back and they return with a stylish new collaboration. Today we get our first look at their partnership with COMME des GARÇONS CDG. The two have come together to revamp the iconic Old Skool silhouette, offering a modern take on an iconic design. COMME des GARÇONS CDG lends their branded motifs to the sneaker, boasting a sleek black and white colorway with exceptional attention to detail.
The Vans Old Skool features a clean upper, which has stayed unchanged on the top half. The sneakers are draped in black canvas and suede uppers with white contrast stitching, white Jazz Stripes, and leather collar liners. However, it’s what lies beneath that offers an eye-catching appeal.
The white rubber midsole is draped with eye-catching branding with black CDG graphics running from the midfoot to the heel. The text stops at the textured toe bumper, while black foxing is seen on top of the repeating print. The sneaker is finished off with traditional waffle outsoles, adding more nostalgia along the way. The sneakers are sleek, stylish, and unique, a sure-fire addition to any collection of kicks.
