The one and only, Benny The Butcher, is back. The wordsmith has been quite busy over the past few years, dropping off an array of new material for our listening enjoyment. Today he is back with a brand new single, linking up with Harry Fraud for a contagious new single entitled “Thanksgiving.” Since serving up Tana Talkback in 2019, Benny has dropped projects with his Griselda family, Hit-Boy, Smoke DZA and Pete Rock, and more.
He’s back with The Plugs I Met 2, serving up a solid new single in the process. Benny opened up about the impending project and worked with Harry Fraud. He stated: “I recorded both Burden Of Proof and The Plugs I Met 2 at the same time, so it’s the same headspace, but a different energy.” The wordsmith added, “I recorded Burden Of Proof in Cali with Hit-Boy and The Plugs I Met 2 in Brooklyn with Harry, and you can hear that influence.”
