Still no concrete word on when The Big Sleepover will arrive, but the boys are back! Today Big Boi and Sleepy Brown return to the interwebs with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. This time around, they serve up an infectious new one called “Animalz.” The track is the latest from the duo, whose album was initially supposed to drop on September 3rd.
The track finds the duo showing off their respective talents once again, cooking up a rather funky display for our listening enjoyment. The track is pushed by these highly contagious melodic elements, which are flawlessly paired with some crisp, clean drum work. The backdrop provides Big Boi and Mr. Brown with an exceptional home to do their thing, and they reciprocate rather nicely. While The Big Sleepover hasn’t dropped yet, it is scheduled to arrive on December 10th. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for this one.
