Big Boi and Sleepy Brown are getting ready to release their highly-anticipated joint project. However, before they do, the duo invaded the interwebs with a brand new single. The track dropped this past Friday and is titled “The Big Sleep Is Over.” The long-in-the-works collaborative album from Dungeon Family brothers is slated to arrive on September 3rd.
After dropping off the singles “Intentions,” “Can’t Sleep,” “We The Ones,” and “Lower Case (no cap),” the duo are back with another one. The track finds both artists bringing their a-game, putting together a fine example of their lyrical and vocal prowess. The track is pushed by this contagious combination of snappy drum sections and impressive melodies that will instantly get hooked into your ears.
Both Big Boi and Sleepy Brown bring the best of their abilities, showcasing their effortless appeal along the way. The duo also announced a Fall tour beginning with their headlining set at the MLS All-Star Game in Los Angeles on August 24th, just ahead of the album’s release.
