We’re here for all the unique and outstanding designs, collectibles, and more. Today the Japanese model toy company AOSHIMA catches our attention with a new throwback toy. Many companies have released classic Thunderbird vehicles from the ’60s Supermarionation series, but this one is different.
The Japanese company has created a jumbo edition that measures nearly 14 inches in length. Thunderbird 2 comes with all of the great details fans can appreciate, rocking a green paint job while accented in red and yellow. The figure uses the same mold from the ’60s and has a functioning cargo container with metal telescopic legs. The supersonic carrier aircraft even features a fleet of rescue vehicles like the yellow submersible Thunderbird 4 and the Mole.
As a bonus, the figure will also come with smaller iterations of Thunderbird 1 and the Thunderbird 5 space station. Looking to add to your collection or just put something eye-catching in the crib? Here it is.
