It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another installment of the Downtown Burger Tour. This week is stop number four on the tour, and we stopped by Morevino Wine Bar to experience the Morevino Burger. Sure, a wine bar might not be the first place you would expect to encounter a burger of any sort. But, Morevino wanted to change that while offering a culinary creation that anyone can enjoy.
They have expanded the selection that #OurOcala has to offer, providing exceptional quality and flavor in the process. Morevino is relatively new to the Downtown Ocala food scene, but their incredible range of options is sure to be a success. The Morevino Burger, and their incredible fries, are just the beginning. We sat down with owner, chef, and sommelier Brian Morey to speak about his burger and what makes his burger stand out among the rest.
Morevino Restaurant has been a lifelong endeavor of owners Brian & Deanna Morey. Their hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice have paid off, and it comes through in their food, as well as the ambiance of the location. But let’s talk burgers!
While the rest of the menu features an array of incredible culinary creations, the burger certainly stands out. The Morevino burger, which is served with an unbelievable side of fresh, hand-cut french fries, is massive and packed with flavor. The Morevino burger is served as a giant twelve-ounce patty that includes filet mixed in, further adding to its flavor profile in the process.
Morevino Wine Bar! More Than Wine!
The burger is an interesting selection at a wine bar, but it is as impressive to eat as it is to stare at. It also comes topped with thick-cut bacon that is perfectly cooked to a crisp, while other garnishes of lettuce and tomato add nicely. The result is something flavorful, juicy, and big. Don’t let the size fool you; it’s not all this burger has to offer. Mr. Morey has put his love and his soul into each dish, and it really comes out in the Morevino Burger. Trust us; you will leave full and incredibly happy with your selection!
The Morevino burger is more than impressive. More than just a big burger, its robust, hearty, flavorful, and of course, filling. It’s also an incredible selection to pair with their wide range of wines and spirits, which is sure to lead to a fantastic evening. Mr. Morey opened up about what makes his burger different and his fries and gave us some insight as to why it tastes so damn good! Look, don’t take our word for it, though.
