The one and only, Bishop Nehru is back. The wordsmith has a new album on the horizon, and he’s been unleashing some new material. Today he is back, offering up the second single from his album, Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts. This one is called “EMPEROR,” and the wordsmith again shows off his lyrical prowess on the track. “EMPEROR” follows the DJ Premier-produced “Too Lost”. Bishop offers another solid example of his abilities, getting quite an instrumental to shine upon. He even spoke about the track recently.
Bishop stated: “’EMPEROR’ was just a track that I was making specifically to have fun at lives shows”. He went on to add, “I wanted to be able to have an energetic song everyone could just feel free to. When I was in the process of creating it, the main thing I was thinking about after I finished the beat was, ‘Wow this could be amazing if performed in a stadium.’” The track is certainly one worth your time and effort. For those unfamiliar with this man, now would be a great time to get acquainted.
