Bishop Nehru – ‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts’

He’s back! The lyricist known as Bishop Nehru makes his return with a brand new album for our listening pleasures. This time around the New York City native drops off of his first project of 2020, ‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts.’ The album arrives after a busy two-year stretch. Since 2018 Bishop has linked up with the likes of Kaytranada and MF DOOM. He served up projects like 2018’s Elevators: Act I & II, even dropping an EP with Brady Watt. Today the lyricist returns with something exceptional yet again.

‘Nehruvia: My Disregarded Thoughts’ is packed with thirteen new tracks, featuring one guest appearance which comes from MF DOOM. Bishop recently opened up the album and his musical evolution. Mr. Nehru stated: “This project is yet another stamp of the beginning of a new evolution.”

He went on to add, “Not just musically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Thank you for growing with me throughout this journey, and I’ll go harder than ever after this one.” The album includes standouts such as “In My Zone,” “Too Lost,” “EMPEROR,” and “meathead,” which features the MF DOOM as mentioned above.

Bishop Nehru delivers something special yet again and shows off his depth as usual. Take a few minutes from your busy day and check out the new LP in the stream below. While you’re at it, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
