The one and only, BJ The Chicago Kid is back. After serving up his album 1123 back in November, BJ is back with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. The new track is called “The People,” a soulful, smooth new cut that we can’t seem to get enough of. The song arrives after a few guest appearances this year. He showed out on Luke James’ To Feel Love/D and G Herbo’s PTSD, showing off his vocal prowess and smooth delivery in the process.
This man always delivers something impressive, and “The People” is no different. The track is driven by some laid back, silky melodic elements which are paired with some crisp drum work. The track is incredible, to say the least, and BJ effortlessly gives us a dose of his abilities behind the mic. While there is no word on where the track might live, we’re hopeful that BJ is working on something bigger.
Take a few minutes from your busy day and check out the contagious new single, “The People” in the stream below. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming very soon.
