It’s been a minute since we’ve heard new material from Blu, Mickey Factz, and Nottz, especially together. While the three have stayed busy over the past several years, the fellas are back with something new for our listening enjoyment. Today the trio has aligned for a new single entitled “Stay Down.” After sharing the XXL cover as part of their 2009 Freshman class, Blu and Mickey have gone on to make quite a name for themselves; Nottz as well.
Both Blu and Mickey released albums produced entirely by Nottz, and today they all come together for something incredible. The track “Stay Down” is driven by this infectious backdrop of snappy, hard-hitting drums and these gripping melodic elements. The combination provides the artists with a flawless home to do their thing, and they reciprocate nicely. The track also features the talents of Iman Omari, who adds a nice touch to the track. “Stay Down” is the first single from the trio’s upcoming joint album, which we are excited to hear more from and about.
