BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Car

The good folks over at BMW are ready to race. The automaker is set to join the 2023 IMSA season with an all-new machine. The BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Car is an evolution of speed that celebrates 50 years of M Power. The vehicle features a hybrid V8 powertrain and a sleek redesign of the twin-kidney grille.

BMW Group Designworks has created something sleek, which is draped in camouflage red, white, and blue, along with 50th-anniversary graphics and even an ode to the Hofmeister on the windows. The design references BMW’s history in motorsport, as it features BMW Icon headlights, M hook mirrors, and taillights. Built for speed, this machine is looking to turn heads and take home some victories next season.

The M Hybrid race car will take to the track when the IMSA season starts next year. Take a closer look at this eye-catching, powerful machine in the images below and discover more details from BMW. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the automotive world coming soon.
