The Dallas native MC, Bobby Sessions, is back. After serving up a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on the Coming 2 America soundtrack, he’s back with a brand new single of his own. Mr. Sessions serves up a brand new single entitled “Cog in the Machine,” which serves as the first single from his upcoming album. The track is driven by a smooth flip on N.E.R.D’s “Sooner Or Later,” which provides the MC with an impressive home to do his thing.
The track that was sampled was the artist’s inspiration to do music full time. He spoke about the single and stated: “I quit my 9-5 job back in 2014 with hardly any money to do music full time. It took a tremendous amount of courage to strive for the life that I couldn’t see in my physical reality.” Bobby went on to add, “This song represents taking that leap of faith and not settling on doing something that you don’t love to do.
