Bold x Brilliant | DJ Snake’s Pardon My French Pairs With Mizuno

The two imprints have come together for a vibrant capsule collection, offering bold new style in the process. The two labels’ first collaboration features a full tracksuit, while also dropping a special colorway for the Wave Rider 1. The silhouette is one of the Japanese brand’s most iconic running silhouettes. The capsule collection boasts a colorful approach while inspired by the vast mix of cultures of the African continent.

The colors of the capsule include black and orange, blues, whites and more, all on a yellow canvas. The colorway evokes images of the sunsets of the savanna. The patterns seen throughout pays tribute to the creative batiks of African fabric artisans. DJ Snake spoke about the collaboration and stated: “We are currently in an era where fashion puts a lot of emphasis on travel and the mix of cultures, so we took the choice to pay tribute to the African continent with a colorful design inspired by clothing that I also love to wear and which also allows us to put forward a culture rich in inspiration for everyone, whether in music or ready-to-wear apparel.”
