For anyone not familiar with the sounds and stylings of Brent Faiyaz, now would be a great time to get familiar. The artist recently released his sophomore album, and today we take a listen to one of the many standouts. The single is called “Lost Kids Get Money,” an infectious anthem that is sure to resonate with many. The track finds Brent showing off his unadulterated and uncanny style, getting quite the backdrop to excel upon. The artist is feeling himself on this one, giving us something bouncy and contagious along the way.
The track is certainly the most vibrant from his new album, celebrating getting the money and all that comes with it. The track is pushed by these smooth, cool, and energetic drum sections, which are seamlessly paired with some catchy melodies. The combination provides Brent with a flawless home to express himself. He does so effortlessly, showcasing his style and delivery along the way. This man never falls short, and he certainly doesn’t start on this one.
Mr. Faiyaz sings: “All my bros collect, all my bros is next. Who need work? I could plug you with connects. Shit get hot, who you call collect? Who you just finesse? Go lay low out West.” Don’t sleep on this one.
