Building Games | Lego Nintendo Entertainment System Building Kit

New gamers know nothing about gaming of the past. Lego returns to celebrate the old school days of gaming with a brand new building kit. Today we get a look at the  Lego Nintendo Entertainment System Building Kit. This unique design arrives after a partnership that has produced interactive Super Mario sets for younger builders. Now they focus on the adults, unleashing something unique, eye-catching, and nostalgic.

The Lego Nintendo Entertainment System is a brick-built, mechanically functional replica of the legendary console. The kid features a controller with connecting cable and plug, an opening, locking slot for the Super Mario Bros. Game Pak, and more.

The kit even includes a buildable retro TV with a flat 8-bit Mario that moves across the screen, thanks to a rotating handle on the side. The kit consists of 2646 pieces, and it’s also compatible with the interactive Mario figure, as it will react to enemies and items on the TV’s screen.

Take a ride back to the iconic days of gaming and relive your childhood. Check out the Lego Nintendo Entertainment System in the image up top and head over to LEGO to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the tech sector coming very soon.
