Built For Speed! The WMC 250EV Motorcycle

The British company White Motorcycle Concepts is looking to change everything we know about motorcycle design. Today the company is back with a look at their latest design, the WMC 250EV, which was built strictly to set land speed records. Founder Rob White has spent years working on cars for Formula One, Le Mans, and World Endurance Championship. That experience helped craft the 250EV and its overall design.

The motorcycle features an unusual two-wheel-drive drivetrain and hydraulic hub steering. However, the most striking feature is the bike’s aerodynamic bodywork. The design features a tunnel that runs the length of the bike with the bodywork draped around it. The tunnel provides a low coefficient of drag, adding to its speed in the process.

Mr. White will ride the bike himself, which is designed around his laser-scanned frame. White’s goal is to break the British record later in 2021, while a world record attempt is set to take place in 2022 at the legendary Bonneville Salt flats.

Take a look at the futuristic WMC 250EV in the images and head over to White Motorcycle Concepts to find out all the details right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more examples of speed and craftsmanship coming soon.
